Welcome to the 2025 NLMRC National Points Chase!
How it works:
-You buy your yearly NLMRC membership
-You come to race
-You earn points, win trophies and other great prizes, and we all have fun!
-At the end of the year, you come to our annual NLMRC banquet to win championship trophies and even more great prizes, and have even more fun!

Points earnings explained:
We take your FOUR best races throughout the year to get you to a points total of no more than 400 points. We will add you finals race points into this total to get your end of year final total.

These yearly points also determine start positions for the finals race. Whichever racer who has the most accumulated points in that class will start on the pole. The earner of the second highest accumulated Will points will start the finals second, and so on.

If we experience a tie in points going into the finals race, we break that tie by factoring in other races finished that each member has.

Say for instance; member one has one additional win outside of their base 400 points, they have a third place finish, and a fifth place finish. Member two has two additional wins outside of their base 400 points. Member two would gain the pole start position going into the final race of the year.

LCQ Race:
The Last Chance Qualifier Race is a race that we hold every year, on the day before the finals race. This race is designed to allow racers who have not met the four race maximum points to still be in contention for the points race. You may not race this race if have scored the maximum four races during the year.

Why do we only take your four best finishes during the year?
This method was designed to level the playing field for all racers, especially those who cannot travel to every single race.
We spent months curating a schedule that would allow racers who expressed great interest in racing our points series prime opportunities to have points earning races in their demographic locations. These races coupled with our crown jewel races; Bowles Farms in Clements, MD, the Mow Down ALS in Chillicothe, OH, and the Gobbler in Stevenson, AL will allow racers to accumulate their four points earning races without traveling for days to and from races.

The NLMRC Points Banquet:
Each year the NLMRC hosts a banquet after the conclusion of the finals race for our members and their families. Racers and one guest are allowed to attend our catered awards ceremony for no charge. During this banquet, we crown our points champions and top earning points racers for the year. We also have other superlative awards that are given out. Some of these awards are voted on by members of the NLMRC, such as Driver of the Year.  Other awards are also given out by the NLMRC to those that we would like to acknowledge for being extra outstanding throughout the year. At this banquet, every member of the NLMRC will be given a raffle ticket to win other cool, racing related prizes.
