Welcome to the 2026 race season for the National Lawn Mower Racing Championships (NLMRC)!

What do you get out of a NLMRC membership?

First and foremost, you get to race for the NLMRC points championship! Secondly, you get a super cool membership card featuring our Adult Driver of the Year and our Jr Driver of the Year. You can surrender your membership card for transponder rentals instead of your license or credit card! You will also receive some pretty cool NLMRC swag that we give out to our members too. Your 2026 NLMRC membership gives you exclusive access to our end of year banquet, where every racer who attends wins additional prizes and swag.

Membership dues go directly into the NLMRC points banquet fund.

Are memberships required?

NO! They absolutely are not required to race with us. Memberships are only for those who wish to run for points this year, or those that just want cool, free, members only merchandise. You may show up to race without a membership, if you win, you get a first place trophy. If 2nd place is running for points, they will receive the 2nd place trophy and 1st place points. Points will be allocated throughout the field in that same manner. *You will be asked at each sign up if you wish to become a member. You can become a member at any time during the season, but will not get points for any previously raced races prior to becoming a member.

Now that we are discussing points, let’s talk about our points structure:

We will be counting your 4 best finishes during the season towards your finals starting position. The finals race finish will be added to your best four finishes to calculate your end of year points. This is designed to allow everyone to be competitive throughout the season, and to give everyone a fair shot at Finals.
